There’s been undeniable evidence that animal cruelty in childhood and adolescence (especially with cats!) can lead to even more lethal and extreme sociopathic behavior in adulthood.

There’s very little doubt that the kid did it. He was practically gushing about killing cats to the police-and they just wanted to talk about his marijuana. And the defense attorney-oh, don’t get me started on HIM. Psychological analysis isn’t “junk science.” Finding out what makes people tick is an incredibly useful skill, especially for criminal profiling for a court case. If this guy actually went to law school, he’d probably know that.
That also makes it really hard for me to admit despite all this, the guy is right in saying that we have no concrete evidence linking him to the crimes, and without that, the little bastard might still walk free.
…Is what I’d say if the defense attorney was competent in any conceivable way. Seriously, with that guy on the bench, the kid is fucked.
